Web copy that’s hard to resist

If your entire marketing strategy was a feast, then your website would be the big juicy roast hog in the middle of the table.

Everything revolves around your website. So that’s where your message needs to crackle most fiercely. If you’re not getting it right here, it’s not going to be right anywhere.

So let’s get it right, and make sure the words on your website do their job of converting customers.

This includes your core pages, but sometimes, a high-ticket or complex product or service requires a standalone sales page, with traffic coming from ads and emails. 

 

Prices start at £1,500 for a 6-page website, typically featuring a Homepage, About Page, 3 x Services Pages & one other page.

Standalone sales pages start at £750.

I can upload copy to your website and do basic formatting, charged at an hourly rate.

If you need web design, graphic design, SEO consultancy or even a brand new website build, I’m good pals with some smart cookies who can help with that.

Emails that leave them hungry for more

If you want to sell through email marketing, you need to rise up through the sludge of your audience’s inbox.

Every time they see your name pop up there, they should look back fondly on the day they hit ‘subscribe’.

But you’ll never achieve that if you do what most companies do and spam people with offers like some neverending DFS sale.

To sell through email, you need to make a genuine connection, show who you are, give them something useful and valuable, and yes, make them smile.

Marketing nibbles – the little extra bits that give you a headache

I appreciate that as an SME or solopreneur, you might not have the in-house expertise to actually get your message in front of your audience. Even something as simple as uploading copy to your website builder can be a pain in the arse if you’ve never done it before. 

I’ve found myself in the annoying position of working hard on a piece of copy, only for it never to see the light of day because a client didn’t know how to actually publish it. 

So I thought I might as well learn how to do those little annoying tasks so it takes them off your plate. Stuff like:

  • Uploading copy to your website builder and formatting it
  • Designing and formatting your emails into attractive templates
  • Organising and segmenting your mailing list for better targeting
  • Strategic help on your wider digital marketing 
  • Training you on how to use marketing platforms – ‘teach a man to fish’ and all that

I do charge for these little add-ons, but much less than if you had to hire someone exclusively to do them.

Blog packages

If you’re selling a complex, high-ticket product or service, people take more convincing – people often consume 10 or more pieces of content before buying. A blog is a great way to answer questions, overcome stumbling blocks and build trust.

Prices start at £250 for 1000 words of your unique insights communicated with punch, power and just a hint of persuasion. 

Discounts apply if you want a bunch of 5 or 10.

 

Case studies

Nobody goes to a restaurant without checking TripAdvisor first. People want to know what other people experienced.

The same applies to your business. That’s where a case study goes down a treat. It serves up the facts, figures and quotes from the clients you’ve already made happy. Powerful stuff indeed.

Prices start at £450, and includes me interviewing your client. Discounts apply if you want a bunch of 5 or 10.

 

Social ad copy

A Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn ad has one job – to get them clicking through to the next stage of your funnel, whether it’a a sign up form or a sales page.

I’ll give you 5 variations of your ad, each using different ‘hooks’ to give you the best chance of cutting through to your audience.

I’ll provide suggestions for images/videos to accompany the copy. 

I can’t create the images or videos, or set up your ads within the platform, but I know some great people who can.

Fees start at £400 for 5 ads.

Brand copy

I’ve been described by a copywriting legend, a LinkedIn celebrity no less, as a ‘secret weapon’ when it comes to naming things.

So if you need a new name for your business or a new product/service you’re launching, or if you need a brand tagline or slogan for a specific campaign…

I’ll stir up whatever it is that makes me a ‘secret weapon’ and provide you with a list of options that capture the flavour of your brand.

Fees start at £300.
